Holy Yoga in the Barn

Holy Yoga in the Barn is therapeutic, restorative, Christ centered yoga held right here on Capon Crossing Farm. We will be in Capon Crossing Barn under the twinkle lights, in front of the mountains, at the foot of the cross,  moving, breathing, and receiving restoration in Christ through our yoga practice. We'll move in an intentional way that brings release and strengthening to our muscles and connective tissue to encourage healing, proper alignment of the body, and regulation of our nervous system.

What is Holy Yoga?

Holy Yoga is the spiritual discipline of bringing our entire selves; strength, mind, heart, and soul, to the Lord as we theraputically move and breathe, encouraging healing, and regulation of our bodies. Our minds are set upon Christ and The Word while we listen to scripture and worship music that is woven in through out our practice.  In moments of stillness we set our hearts before the Lord and pray, while receiving His enduring love and faithfulness. Our intention in all that we do on our mats is to bring glory to God.

What to bring and expect.

We will have some mats available, but you're welcome and encouraged to bring your own. Please bring anything else that would make you the most comfortable. You can wear comfortable clothing that helps you to move the best.  This is yoga in a barn with a raw wood floor on a working cattle farm, so footprints on your mat happen. ;) We will provide all natural cleaner for the mats. If it's a warmer evening we may also move to the downstairs of the barn where it stays nice and cool. You are also encouraged to bring your own Bibles and prayer journals with you as well for your own personal reading and reflection. Please let the instructor know if there are any health considerations, history of injury, or physical pain that needs to be considered during the class.
